Dec. 29--Anthony Wayne soccer groups in Whitehouse are partnering with the YMCA to create a new soccer league for economically disadvantaged youth in North Toledo and Point Place.
The Anthony Wayne United Youth Soccer League and Anthony Wayne Soccer Club have applied for a grant from the U.S. Soccer Foundation to improve their playing fields near Whitehouse. As part of the grant requirements, they must form the new league.
