Lawsuits have been filed against Southwest Airlines by two passengers who were on board the aircraft that veered off the runway at Chicago's Midway Airport on 8 December.
The incident occurred as the flight was landing in a snowstorm. The Boeing 737-700 aircraft skidded through a fence and onto a busy street next to the airport, where it hit a car. A six-year-old boy in the car was killed.
