The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) has recommended to MalacaA[+ or -]ang the declaration of a "short- term" ceasefire with the New Peopleas Army (NPA) this Christmas.
Col. Tristan Kison, chief of the AFP Public Information Office, in a press briefing yesterday, hinted that the recommendation was only for two days, Christmas and New Year.
