Adult education programs showed a steady upward climb in three important measures--learning gains, high school completion and postsecondary transition--during the most recent years studied.
Gains also were "significant" for adult education students on two employment measures: entering employment and retaining employment, according to the Office of Vocational and Adult Education's recent progress report to Congress.
