The bill creating the National Commission to Ensure a Strong Competitive Airline Industry was signed into law as H.R. 904 to find solutions to the problems of the airline and aviation industry. The US will pursue bilateral and multilateral aviation negotiations to enhance fair competition in international trading which includes airline traffic rights. The Commission will generate the necessary research to identify the industry's problems and appropriate solutions.
