MILTON - Eight out of 11 players on the Mount Alvernia squad are either freshmen or sophomores, but luckily the team has received great leadership from the senior trio of Juliana Heck, Sara Crandall and Danielle McNeil.

Heck, an outside hitter, registered 14 kills to lead top-seeded Mount Alvernia past No. 2 Norfolk Aggie, 3-1, last night in the Division 3 Central final at Milton High School.
