Since the discovery of pocket 28 in 2004, our work at Mount Mica has been continuous, save only for a brief winter delay from mid-January to mid-March. During the second week of January 2005, we started a drift eastward (up strike) from the adit that intercepted pocket 28. In April, Jim Clanin, a well-known geologist and mining engineer from San Diego, joined Coromoto Minerals, LLC, bringing his worldwide experience in gem mining.
