SHANGHAI, China -- The Shanghai diocese's first eucharistic congress in more than half a century drew 3,000 Catholics from throughout the diocese for a Mass, eucharistic procession and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.
"It is the first time I have joined such a eucharistic congress. It's really good," said an elderly parishioner surnamed Kang from St. Joseph's Church in Shanghai.
