It took 15 years for Madison West to get back into the WIAA playoff picture. It took Fond du Lac the first 35 seconds of the third quarter to end the Regents' dream.

The Cardinals scored three unanswered touchdowns in the second half to turn a close first-half game into a 28-6 rout in the first round of the WIAA Division 1 playoffs Tuesday at Mansfield Stadium.
