IN view of the recent repeated rallies and protests in Metro Manila, and those staged where politicians abound in some provinces elsewhere, I thought it propitious to discuss in today's column on what joint authors Rage, Grier, and Cobbs said in their book: "The Politics of Protest," based on a Report Submitted by Jerome H. Skolnick, Director of the Task Force on Violent Aspects of Protest and Confrontention of the National (US) Commission on the Causes and Prevention of Violence.
