An Oneida Common Council candidate was charged with drinking and driving twice within three hours Friday - his second and third DWI counts in the past month.
Brian E. Karst, 34, of Broad Street, Oneida, was pulled over at 7:40 p.m. on Route 5 in the town of Vernon and initially given tickets accusing him of failure to keep right, obstructed rear license plate and no rear license plate lamp, Oneida County sheriff's deputies said.
