GOLDEN -- When word got out that one of Holy Family's best softball players had transferred to Broomfield before the season, most figured the Tigers would be down this year.
Everybody except the Tigers' players, that is.
While Tina Fabrizio admittedly was missed, Holy Family navigated through the season just fine. On Friday, the third-ranked Tigers capped a perfect season in the Class 3A Metro League, upending No. 8 Faith Christian 8-5 at Paul J. Wolf Field.
