Nok Air adds weekly flights to Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Oct. 4--Nok Air, the no-frills carrier affiliated with Thai Airways International, is adding Nakhon Si Thammarat to its growing domestic destination list as it strengthens its position in the local air travel market.

Nok Air will operate two return flights from Bangkok to Nakhon Si Thammarat from Oct 30 with a daily morning flight, and an evening flight Monday to Thursday, according to chief executive Patee Sarasin.

Nakhon Si Thammarat becomes the fifth destination in Nok Air's network which now serves Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket and Udon Thani from Bangkok.
