PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Subsequent to months of squabbling about its shareholding structure an Indian joint venture that teams-up TATA POWER CO. (TPC) and DAMODAR VALLEY CORP. (DVC). has finally signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) regarding the planned power project. According to the terms of the MOU, TPC will hold a 74% stake in the venture while DVC will own the balance of the equity.
