The growth of non-Judeo-Christian religions in the United States has cast doubts on the Christian characteristic of the country. Current statistics show that more than 12 million Americans are members of various non-Judeo-Christtian religions and that Islam may soon overtake Judaism as the country's second largest religion. The facts prove that pluralism has become an American way of life however fundamental Christian preachers may rally against it.
