Entrepreneur David Azrieli recently officially opened the Jerusalem Mall, billed as "the largest shopping mall in the Middle East." $80 million has been invested in the mall on a total area of 100,000 square meters. Ramat Gan-based Kanit Management, Investment & Finance Ltd, of which Azrieli is chairman of the board, estimates that the mall will have an annual turnover of $500 million, and 30,000 visitors every day.
