HIMALAYAS AND HILL STATIONS?
Largely, yes. The sweep of the Himalayas in the north of India acts
as a mighty wall, setting this kaleidoscope of states and territories apart from the rest of mainland Asia. And the Himalayan area contains some of the most celebrated of the remnants of the Raj: the hill retreats built by the British so that they could escape the stifling heat of the plains.
