Tianjin Port opens major new dock, boosting dry bulk capacity

Shanghai. October 28. INTERFAX-CHINA - A 200,000 ton level bulk dock officially started commercial operation at #11 Nanjiang Zone of Tianjin Port on October 22. It is the largest bulk dock in Tianjin Port and can receive 200,000 tons ships and handle 14 mln tons of goods per year.

Wang Guangrong, director of PR department of Tianjin Port Administration Bureau told Interfax that this berth mainly serves bulk shipments of iron ore and coal.
