Twin Cities activist and philanthropist Anne P. Rogers dies.(NEWS)(Obituary)

When Walker Art Center officials showed Anne Pierce Rogers an array of Frank Gehry sculptures they wanted for the museum, she chose the big glass fish that now is part of the Sculpture Garden.
Rogers, a philanthropist and activist for women and children, died unexpectedly Aug. 30 at the age of 78. Burial services will be held Saturday on Hilton Head Island, S.C.
A native of Englewood, N.J., she graduated from Foxhollow School for Girls in Lenox, Mass., and from Wellesley College with a bachelor's degree in English. ...
