The second set of attempted bombings in London on 21 July has further reinforced the fall in shopper numbers. This is according to SPSL's Retail Traffic Index, which found that on Friday 22 July shopper numbers were down 19.1 per cent year-on-year and 8.9 per cent week-on-week.
