Abstract
The present research involving the Vermont State Police Peer Support Program was undertaken in order to examine membership utilization of the program and its relationship to the existence of stigma. Members of the Vermont State Police were sent 463 questionnaires. A "snowball" sampling technique was employed. Of the surveys returned, 30.5% were usable.
