NEW YORK (FNS) -- G-III Apparel Group Ltd. is betting that its newly launched line of men's fabric outerwear--combined with an already strong men's leather business--will put it on top in the men's outerwear arena.
"We're aiming to become the major player in men's outerwear," said Morris Goldfarb, G-III's president/chief executive officer, in a recent interview.
"We've done a very good job with our men's leather outerwear business in a short time, and we plan to show the same results--or better--in cloth outerwear," Goldfarb noted.
