Boro's grand masters are gearing up for a golden oldies showdown.

The club's over-35s are competing in the Masters Football Grand Final at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Sunday.

They have been paired with Leicester City in the opening match of the six-a-side finals.

Boro skipper Paul Kerr, an energetic 41-year-old, said: "We're in full training. We went to the Tall Trees last week and we're going to Stringfellows this week."
