The Crooner
His self-contented days are over. And the caustic tone rows, and the
cave art
Ticked off with its kinetic raconteur--that's been given up too,
along with the stylebook and the leaky boots.
Even when he thought of himself as foppish, he couldn't pilfer pride
or give the shaft to the dead--
What he needed was a moral hazard for liquor and a light ship. So he
mocked-up the Jovian brogue,
Reticulated the choriambs like ...
