Roofs are probably the most troublesome elements in a manufacturing plant. A few years ago I was at a roofing contractors show and overheard a plant engineer comment, "I've got a 10-acre roof with 9 acres of leaks." He was undoubtedly being facetious, but his comment captures the overwhelming feeling associated with a leaky roof.
