On 19 May 2005, in the presence of Jacques Chirac, Helmut Schroder and Aleksandr Kwasniewski, the authorities of Nancy, capital of Lorraine, inaugurated the restored Place Stanislas, one of the glories of eighteenth-century urban planning.
