WEST METRO; Call for grants to keep Minnehaha Creek healthy.(NEWS)

The Minnehaha Creek Watershed District is looking for people with ideas on how to keep the watershed clean and healthy. Schools, lake and neighborhood associations, and other organizations are encouraged to apply for grants from this year's round of funding by the Cynthia Krieg Watershed Stewardship Fund.

Applicants must submit a one-page preliminary proposal by Sept. 1. Those who qualify will be asked to submit full proposals by Sept. 30.
