Aug. 12--John R. Knezek wasn't smiling when he drew a glass of water from the tap at his house in the Brentwood subdivision across from the Victoria Regional Airport.

It had a white, milky appearance that slowly cleared from the bottom up as he held the glass in the air and watched with disdain.

Despite its appearance, the state has declared the water safe to drink. John and his wife, Lou, aren't taking any chances, though.
