Here is a fresh idea for your next free weekend: Skip the golf game or tennis match. Instead, hop in your airplane or accept that offer from your pilot friend for a flight in search of the $100 hamburger.

It's not as extravagant as it may sound--this is an old tradition in the aviation community. You climb into a private plane with friends and fly to a small airport for lunch. The food will not cost $100, but add fuel and other expenses, and a "hamburger run," as pilots call it, can easily eat up a crisp Ben Franklin.
