Enrolment is now complete in the clinical trial to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the trademarked Talent thoracic stent graft system for the treatment of thoracic aortic diseases, said Medtronic Inc, the US company that developed the stent graft.

The trial, named Valor (Vascular Talent Thoracic Stent Graft System for the Treatment of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms), will take place at 40 clinical centres in the USA and will involve 359 patients.
