MIDLAND, Pa., July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of PA Gov. Edward G. Rendell, Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) Secretary Dennis Yablonsky today presented $2 million in Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) funds to support construction of the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center on Midland Avenue.

The $23.5 million, 79,000-square-foot facility, is being constructed at the old Midland High School, which has been closed since 1994. The center will boast a 750-seat theater, offices ...
