After reading the article by Tony Gibbs on Cedar Key and especially the mention of Seahorse Key, I noticed that the author forgot to note the extremely high concentration of poisonous Water Moccasin snakes on this and many of the adjacent islands.

Living in Florida for the past 45 years, I can personally attest to the prevalence of poisonous snakes on these Florida west coast islands and "keys." I have been told that the water moccasin ...
