According to IINA, around one million people were marooned in the north and central parts of Bangladesh in a new wave of floods caused by monsoon rains over the last few days. At least seven people were died and hundreds of thousands of people stranded, said government officials. More than 40,000 people were forced to flee their homes and took shelter in safer places.
