The 36 clubs taking part in the Debmat Challenge Cup semi-finals enjoyed some great weather and the usual very close finishes.
At Benfield, Gosforth edged out Backworth by a single point, while Northern Electric also progressed to the final by the same margin against St George's at Crawford Park.
At Forest Hall the host club lost to Alnwick, also by one point. Percy was the only team to take advantage of a home draw as they progressed through undefeated.
