Longmen Steel starts development of the largest siderite mine in China

Shanghai. July 4. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Sha'anxi Longmen Iron and Steel Group (Longmen Steel), the largest steel maker in Sha'anxi Province, started development of the Daxigou siderite mine, the largest of its kind in China. The project is designed to provide over 3 mln tons iron ore per year to Longmen Steel in the next two years, a PR official surnamed Li with Longmen Steel told Interfax.
