Taiwan Formosa Plastics has started the construction of a 80 000 [m.sup.3] ethylene storage tank in Ningbo. The project is expected to be completed within two years.
The storage tank can contain around 44 000 tons of ethylene. It is mainly used to provide ethylene raw material to the 300 000 t/a PVC unit recently constructed by Formosa Plastics in Ningbo and also to a 450 000 t/a PP unit to be constructed by Formosa Plastics in Ningbo.
