Saudi Ethane Gas Supplies To The Domestic Market Will Nearly Double By 2010.

The state-owned Saudi Aramco has confirmed that it will raise domestic supplies of ethane gas from 600 MCF/day now to 1,100 MCF/day by 2010. Ethane is the most competitive feedstock for ethylene production, not only in the Middle East but also throughout the world. Until a few years ago, it has been an increasingly limited resource in Saudi Arabia.
