KANORADO, Kan. -- Finding the elusive Stone Age spear point.
That's the dream that keeps Denver archaeologist Steven Holen digging in the brown sand of a grass-topped hillside along the Colorado border.
"That's the kind of thing you keep hoping for, even though you know it's a long shot," said Holen, curator of archaeology at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
"It would be a very big deal," he said. "It would change the way we think about the early peopling of North America."
