Virginia Tolbert gives the plastic horseshoe an energetic flip, and it plops in the grass about 8 feet away. Not much, but cut the kid some slack; she's only 2.

What's more, she's got two role models in the family who are zingers with the ringers. They are Kirk Adams, 45, and Amanda Tolbert, 16. Amanda is Adams' niece and Virginia is his great-niece.
