For St. Viator's girls soccer opponents, there were few sights more unsettling than Elise Weber with the ball at her feet.

More often than not, that resulted in a score for the Lions who, behind 32 goals and 21 assists from Weber this spring, won their third Class A state championship in the last four years.

It's not only how many goals Weber scored but how she scored them.

In the state quarterfinals against Peoria Notre Dame, Weber helped break a scoreless tie by assisting on Brittany Johnson's goal 14 seconds ...
