HERE WE go again.

It's the hunting ban in a new guise - but this time those being relentlessly targeted are not toffs in red coats but people who express prohibited ideas.

For the third time, the Government aims to pass a law against incitement to religious hatred. This oppressive measure was previously blocked by objections from a crosssection of horrified parliamentarians, who rightly saw it as an assault on a fundamental democratic tradition.
