WINSTON-SALEM -- I enjoy classical music. But, truth be told, I don't know my Brahms from my Bartok. So, when I wanted to find out about the Triad's newest music festival, the Magnolia Baroque Festival, being held in Winston-Salem later this month, I needed some background on the Baroque period, and I needed it fast.

I started with the Internet. But it was like asking for a cookie and being handed a whole bakery; way too much information. So I contacted an expert: Glenn Siebert, festival founder and director.
