STATE MOVING DEATH ROW INMATES TO SUPERMAX PRISON.(News)

YOUNGSTOWN -- The warden of the state's supermaximum-security prison says death row inmates who will be moved there later this year will be confined in an environment no more restrictive than what they experience now.

Warden Marc Houk provided a tour Tuesday of one of two prison blocks at the Ohio State Penitentiary that will house Ohio's 193 inmates sentenced to death.

The prison system announced in March that it would move the condemned killers to the supermax to save money.
