With 11 boating deaths so far this season - including five on Memorial Day weekend and two on Friday - one of Minnesota's favorite summer recreations seems to be shadowed by danger. In fact, the rates of deaths and injuries from boating are in steep declines, even though there are more boats on Minnesota waters than ever.
