At the Urdd Eisteddfod at the Wales Millennium Centre Daniel Davies meets a trilingual artist for whom the language of poetry is Welsh

BILINGUAL families many not be uncommon in Wales.

But Aneurin Karadog's is tri-lingual.

He talks to his father in Welsh, his mother in Breton - a Celtic language related to Welsh - and his parents talk to each other in French.

The 23-year-old yesterday won the Urdd Eisteddfod's Chair for poetry.

He won with a piece about the Welsh language rescuing ...
