Seattle Bank Names James E. Gilleran President and CEO.

SEATTLE -- The Board of Directors of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle (Seattle Bank) announced today that it has named James E. Gilleran, former director of the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) and president and chief executive officer of the Bank of San Francisco, to become president and CEO of the Seattle Bank.

Mr. Gilleran is expected to begin work at the Seattle Bank on June 1, 2005. He replaces James R. Faulstich, who has led the bank as interim president and CEO since February 2005.
