First Defiance Financial Corp. Receives Regulatory Approval for ComBanc Acquisition.

First Defiance Financial Corp. announced that it has received regulatory approval from the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) to acquire the banking offices of Commercial Bank of Delphos, a subsidiary of ComBanc, Inc. (BULLETIN BOARD: COBI.OB) . ComBanc shareholders also approved the deal at a special shareholder meeting on Tuesday, December 21, 2004. The transaction is expected to close January 21, 2005 and conversion of systems will begin immediately thereafter.

The four Commercial Bank offices being acquired are located in Delphos, Elida and Lima in Allen ...
