Aug. 3--North American Van Lines is expanding its air freight business on the remnants of a defunct California company.
The Fort Wayne-based transport company announced recently that its air- freight business plans to provide service to former customers of Eden Air Freight, a Costa Mesa, Calif., company that went out of business July 20.
North American Air Freight also is hiring about 50 former Eden workers to help handle additional Eden business, said Pete Palmer, North American spokesman. Further, North American will staff former Eden offices in seven cities, in addition to ...
