If you are a nonunion construction company and are considering working on a public improvement project, there are several pitfalls involving Ohio's prevailing wage statute that you should be aware of.

The primary purpose of Ohio's prevailing wage statute was "to support the integrity of the collective bargaining process by preventing the undercutting of employee wages'' in public improvement projects.
