CHARLESTON, S.C., May 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gregory W. Fischer has joined Thomas Cooper & Co., Inc., as chief operating officer and executive vice president.

Thomas Cooper & Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, is a full service, third-party administrator (TPA) specializing in the administration of group health insurance plans throughout South Carolina since 1972. It was the first third-party administrator in South Carolina and one of the first in the Southeast.
